
What to Expect When You Work With Us
We are thrilled about your upcoming Electrical project and hope you share our excitement! Below, you'll find a detailed overview of what to expect before, during, and after your project. For our FAQ please click here for answers to some of the most frequently asked questions from our customers.
1. Prior to Start

Our team will contact you confirming your scheduled appointment. Project start dates can fluctuate a bit due to incremental weather or unforeseen circumstances

We strive to ensure all your equipment, supplies, and materials are packaged and ready for your project.

The required trade permits will be pulled with Technical Safety BC
-
For projects over $10,000, a 20% deposit may be required at least one week before we begin work.


2. First Day of Your Project

Our team will reach out to let you know they are on their way.

Please ensure the work area is clear of items such as garbage, lawn equipment, furniture, boxes, etc. If there are heavy items that need to be moved, our crew will be happy to assist upon arrival.

If you have indoor pets that are sensitive to noise or cannot be let outside, it’s advisable to keep them secure in another area of the home. While we are very mindful about keeping animals inside, they can sometimes be lightning fast! Our crews are pet-friendly and happy to greet them to help ease their stress.
3. Project Start and Work To Be Completed

One of our electricians will start on your project a the pre decided time. This time will be arranged with you prior to the start date. We will do our best to provide you with an estimate of how long the job will take. Occasionally, additional time may be needed to complete the project if we come across unforeseen challenges. If this is the case, your electrician will inform you.

Our team members will respect your home and floors. Team members will remove shoes, when entering your home. Depending on the scope of the project, upon arrival, we will lay out protective floor coverings to safeguard your floors from foot traffic, our tools and supplies. This is not always necessary or practical if we are working all throughout the home.

Our crew lead will review the details of your project, including the areas we will be working in and around your home, timelines, and any special considerations. Depending on the scope of work, we may be in your home for an hour or several days. No matter the length of your project, you can rest assured that all our crew works diligently to complete the project in a professional and timely manner.

Electrical work can be a process and sometimes there are unforeseen issues that present themselves. Communication is key and if we need to make any modifications to your project, all with be discussed prior to any work being done.

Our crews try to cleanup as much as possible as they can while working and keeping clear pathways in your home. If you need anything to be moved during your project please let the crew know

We understand that we are in YOUR home, and we prioritize respect as we move through and work in your space.

4. Wrapping Up

At the end of the project, we will conduct a final walkthrough with you to ensure everything meets your expectations. If we identify any adjustments that need to be made during the walkthrough, we will address them immediately. Your satisfaction with our work is our top priority.

We will discuss key aspects of your project such as the functionality of the electrical work that was completed.

All manuals, documents or any extra supplies will be left with your equipment unless you have requested differently with us during the walkthrough
5. After Project Completion

You will receive your invoice with instructions on how to pay.
